Launching a Token
The Launch page creates a token on a supported launchpad using that launchpad’s own contracts. The token is a standard launch on that launchpad and appears on its website and on Agora at the same time. Agora charges no launch fee.
Steps
- Select a launchpad: Kleos, BOXA, ElysPump, Elyxa or Obol.
- Enter the token details: name, ticker and image. A description and links are optional. The image is resized and hosted by Agora.
- Set the trading tax and its destination, within the limits of the selected launchpad.
- Optionally add a first buy. The first buy executes in the same transaction that creates the token, so no other trade can precede it.
- Confirm the transaction. The token’s page opens once it has been indexed, usually within seconds.

Obol tokens start on a bonding curve and migrate to a liquidity pool when the curve completes, at a market cap of approximately $69,000. Tokens on the other launchpads are placed entirely in a liquidity pool at launch.
Costs
Launching through Agora costs the launchpad’s own creation fee, if any, the optional first buy, and gas.
