FAQ

General

Is Agora a launchpad?

No. Agora aggregates the launchpads on Elysium. It lists and trades their coins and lets you launch on them, but every coin remains on the launchpad that created it.

Are prices on Agora the same as on the launchpad?

Yes. Agora trades the same pools as the launchpads. Where a coin trades in more than one pool, Agora selects the one that returns the most.

Do I need an account?

No. Connect a wallet to trade. Favorites are stored in your browser.

Trading

Why did my trade fail?

The price most likely moved beyond your slippage setting, which is common for coins with high taxes, or your wallet’s RPC endpoint was congested. Failed trades revert and cost only gas.

Why does selling require an approval?

A contract must be permitted to transfer a token before it can sell it. You approve Agora’s router once per token.

$AGORA

Where can I buy $AGORA?

On Agora, or on Kleos, where it launched. The contract address is 0x5e5df82d563fcf36b6f853c4d09f89e2d18825b4.

How do buybacks work?

30% of Agora’s revenue is used to buy $AGORA on the open market and send it to the burn address. See Buyback and Burn.

How are holder rewards paid?

5% of revenue is distributed in HYPE to $AGORA holders in proportion to their balance. Distributions are announced on X.

How much $AGORA is required for fee-free trading?

Currently 1,500,000 $AGORA, set at approximately $200 worth and adjusted as the price changes. The swap panel shows the Agora fee as Free when you qualify.

Was there a presale or team allocation?

No. The entire supply was placed in the liquidity pool at launch.

Launching and Bridging

Does Agora charge a fee to launch a token?

No. Only the launchpad’s own fees, your optional first buy and gas apply.

How long does bridging take?

From HyperEVM, typically a few seconds. From other chains, the Relay swap typically takes one to two minutes, followed by the Elysium deposit.
