Trading Overview
Every coin on Elysium can be traded from its page on Agora. Agora quotes the trade on every pool that holds the coin and executes it on the pool that returns the most.
Placing a Trade
- Open a coin by searching for it or from Explore.
- Select Buy or Sell and enter an amount.
- Review the quote and confirm in your wallet.
Selling a token for the first time requires a one-time approval. Subsequent sells of that token are a single transaction.
The Quote
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| You receive | The amount returned by the selected pool, after the pool’s taxes and Agora’s fee. |
| Best price via | The pool the trade will execute on, and how the other pools compare. |
| Price impact incl. fees | The difference between this trade’s price and the last traded price. Highlighted above 5%. |
| Agora fee | Agora’s fee on this trade, or Free for qualifying $AGORA holders. |
| Minimum received | The least the trade will return at your slippage setting. If the price moves further, the trade reverts. |
Slippage
Slippage can be set to 0.5%, 1%, 3% or 10%. Coins with high buy or sell taxes may require a higher setting.
Execution
Trades are executed through Agora’s router contract, which applies Agora’s fee and any referral share, then performs the swap on the selected pool. See Contracts & Security.
